The Shinko AC Servo Drive Type 5-Speed/Type 5000 is an AC servo drive with built-in inverters. It has 5 speeds, 2 motor output terminals, and a 7.2 kW capacity. The unit can be switched between speed control mode and dual control mode by the DM input terminal. The motor output terminals use DC barrel wire connectors for convenience in connecting them to the power source without having to make any other wiring changes as the drive is designed as a 1 phase device with 8 or 3 phase capability using optional terminal blocks or single pole/double throw switches on the right side of the enclosure. The servo drive uses an AC servo motor that is AC/DC synchronous, making it ideal for starting or reversing applications. It has a special feature called the “Quick Control” function that allows the user to change the application parameters just by pushing one button.
